Special and Optional Features
Special keypad features include:
- "Non-motion / Wellness Check Alerts"
This feature allows security staff to set a global Alert Time, as well as tailor that time for individual suites as may be desired. The system will then monitor an insuite motion detector for activity and alert staff should there be no motion detected in the unit within the set time, initiating a wellness check. This is a standard feature of all of our keypads, and requires a standard IR motion detector to be connected to them in the suites to be monitored.
- "Temperature / Heat-Map"
This is an optional feature for systems, where the keypads are equipped with a temperature sensor that will report the ambient temperature around the keypad location. This can be useful for communities to monitor excessive power usage in the summer months and detect heating failures in the winter.
